Basketball Recap: Chrisman Comes Up Short

Chrisman lost against Arthur-Okaw Christian back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Chrisman Cardinals fell 39-28 to the Arthur-Okaw Christian Conquering Riders.

When it comes to explaining why Chrisman lost, don't look at Taylor Jones. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine rebounds. What's more, Jones also posted a 50% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Adaleyn Miller, who posted two points and seven boards.

Annabelle Haskins went supernova for Arthur-Okaw Christian, going 7 for 15 on her way to 20 points and seven rebounds. Avery Herschberger was another key player, putting up eight points.

Chrisman has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 18 of their last 20 games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-23 record this season. As for Arthur-Okaw Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.
