Volleyball Recap: Winter Park Starts Season with Win Against West Orange

Winter Park took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the West Orange Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on 24 straight dating back to last season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 25-20.

Winter Park was led to victory by Isabel Bertelsen and Jordyn Lehman. Bertelsen had nine digs and one assist, while Lehman had eight digs and three assists. That's the most assists Lehman has posted since back in October of 2024.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Winter Park will square off against New Smyrna Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Orange, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Lake Brantley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
