Basketball Recap: Cuba City Takes a Loss

If Cuba City was feeling good fresh off their 93-41 takedown of Boscobel last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cuba City Cubans came up short against the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses on Thursday, falling 57-31. The contest marked the Cubans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Cuba City's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Dixon, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-5.

Looking ahead, Cuba City won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Southwestern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cuba City is facing Southwestern at the right time seeing as Southwestern is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Dixon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
