The Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes will face off against the Macomb Bombers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Abingdon/Avon sitting on three straight wins and Macomb on ten.

Alex Foutch made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Abingdon/Avon is 6-3 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 6-7 otherwise. Foutch was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April.
