It's playoff time, and Farwell had no trouble coming through when it counted. They secured a 46-40 W over the Clarendon Broncos on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but the Steers sure are getting used to it with their 18th in a row.
Landri Richey was her usual excellent self, going 6-for-10 en route to 22 points and five rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 56% in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Isabella Jaime, who posted nine points and six steals.
Farwell pushed their record up to 34-3 with the victory, which was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.5 points. As for Clarendon, their defeat dropped their record down to 31-7.
Looking ahead, Farwell will take on Lipan on Monday. Lipan will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something Farwell surely won't give up without a fight. Clarendon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
