Volleyball Recap: Akron-Westfield Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union, Akron-Westfield was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Sibley-Ocheyedan Generals.

The victory got Akron-Westfield back to even at 2-2. As for Sibley-Ocheyedan, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Akron-Westfield is taking a road trip to take on Hinton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sibley-Ocheyedan, they will host Gehlen Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
