Softball Recap: Kingman/Norwich Extends Winning Streak to Six

Kingman/Norwich never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past the Conway Springs Cardinals 15-0. The win was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won six contests in a row.

Caylor Helm was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

In other batting news, Elizabeth Wallace was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Ryan Schreiner, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and three RBI.

Kingman/Norwich was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .609. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive matchups.

Kingman/Norwich's record is now 7-1. As for Conway Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Kingman/Norwich will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cardinals: the pair will be back at it again later today.
