Basketball Recap: Putnam Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Putnam can now relate to. They were outmatched by the Centennial Eagles and fell 85-51. The Kingsmen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Putnam has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. The victory got Centennial back to even at 8-8.

Coming up, Putnam will welcome Parkrose at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Putnam is facing Parkrose at the right time seeing as Parkrose is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
