Wakefield Country Day barely beat Massanutten Military Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Owls blew past the Colonels 3-0 on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Wakefield Country Day walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-21, 25-20.

Wakefield Country Day's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Massanutten Military Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
