Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Warriors vs. Paris HomeSchool
The Trinity Christian Academy Warriors put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Paris HomeSchool 63-19 at home. Considering Trinity Christian Academy has won seven contests by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Leading Trinity Christian Academy to victory were Faith Nutt and Cenzie Pyeatt. Nutt scored 23 points along with six steals, while Pyeatt scored 24 points along with five rebounds and five steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Pyeatt has scored at least 25% of Trinity Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Fagan , who scored five points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Trinity Christian Academy pushed their record up to 9-0 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.7 points per game. As for Paris HomeSchool, their loss ended a eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-1.
Trinity Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Non Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Paris HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
