Basketball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Middleton's Sixth in Last Eight Outings

Middleton won the last time they faced West Carroll, and Harmony Bell did her part to make sure it happened again. Everything went the Middleton Tigers' way against the West Carroll War Eagles on Thursday as the Middleton Tigers made off with a 55-31 victory thanks in part to Bell, who went 13 of 19 on her way to 28 points and five assists. The game was her third in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kemora Buggs, who posted four points and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played.

Middleton has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for West Carroll, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Middleton will head out to challenge Bolivar Central at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for West Carroll, they will venture away from home to take on Milan at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
