Buford is 8-1 against Mill Creek since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Buford Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mill Creek Hawks at 6:00 p.m. Buford will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Last Monday, Buford earned a 51-38 victory over Central Gwinnett. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while the Black Knights are ranked 90th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Mill Creek took on Collins Hill on Monday. Mill Creek had just enough and edged Collins Hill out 43-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hawks have posted since December 7, 2024.

Mill Creek is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Buford, their victory bumped their record up to 22-2.

Buford beat Mill Creek 70-58 when the teams last played two weeks ago. Will Buford repeat their success, or does Mill Creek have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
