Baseball Recap: Rochelle Comes Up Short

Rochelle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 24-7 to the Kaneland Knights. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Knights this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-1 defeat on Wednesday.

Rochelle's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Kaneland, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rochelle will face off against Sterling at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hubs are facing the Golden Warriors at the right time seeing as the Golden Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Kaneland, they will challenge Oswego at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
