Basketball Recap: Henrietta Takes a Loss

Henrietta was the 52-45 winner over Holliday when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Henrietta Bearcats took a 46-38 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Holliday Eagles on Friday.

Henrietta's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-12. As for Holliday, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-7.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Henrietta Bearcats challenge the Vernon Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Henrietta is facing Vernon at the right time seeing as Vernon is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Holliday, they will square off against Bowie at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
