Basketball Recap: Van Alstyne's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Van Alstyne had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 33-28 victory over the Caddo Mills Foxes on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 60-38 back in November of 2024.

Van Alstyne's win bumped their record up to 8-21. As for Caddo Mills, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-20 record.

Van Alstyne wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 56-54 loss against Aubrey on the 28th. Caddo Mills has also already played their next game, a 44-28 defeat against Ford on the 28th.
