Soccer Game Preview: Rawlins vs. Newcastle

The Rawlins Outlaws are taking a road trip to square off against the Newcastle Dogies at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Rawlins is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wyoming's top teams: Worland, who was ranked eighth at the time (Rawlins was ranked tenth). The Outlaws fell 2-0 to the Warriors on Friday.

Meanwhile, Newcastle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 11-0 to Douglas.

Rawlins now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Newcastle, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.

Rawlins took their win against Newcastle when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 6-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Outlaws since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
