Volleyball Game Preview: Elcho Hornets vs. Suring Eagles

The Elcho Hornets will challenge the Suring Eagles on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Elcho is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top against Lena by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

The victory didn't come easy: Lena scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-21, 20-25, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Suring hadn't done well against Wausaukee recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Eagles blew past the Rangers 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-16, 25-13.

Elcho now has a winning record of 16-15. As for Suring, their win bumped their record up to 18-7.

Elcho came up short against Suring in their previous matchup back in September, falling 2-0. Can the Hornets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
