Basketball Recap: Wynot Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Wynot, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They strolled past the Plainview Pirates with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 45-31. Given the Blue Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Pirates are ranked 244th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wynot is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Plainview, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.

Wynot has already played their next game, a 44-40 victory against Niobrara/Verdigre on the 27th. As for Plainview, they will face off against Hartington-Newcastle at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
