Baseball Preview: Blair Bears vs. Seward Bluejays
Blair is 8-1 against Seward since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bears will be playing at home against the Bluejays at 6:30 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
On Saturday, Blair needed a bit of extra time to put away Platte Valley. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Platte Valley 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Bears as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Jake Gaskill looked comfortable as he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He is becoming a predictor of Blair's success: when he allows at most one hit the team is 2-1 (and 4-15 when he doesn't).
