While Liberty County didn't have the best season last year (they finished 12-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Beach Bulldogs on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Liberty County easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13.

Liberty County can attribute much of their success to Ava Guercio, who had five aces.

Liberty County's record is now 7-2. As for Beach, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Liberty County will square off against Ware County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beach, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Savannah on the 19th.
