Recap: Greene County Wildcats vs. Bay Tigers
The Greene County Wildcats lost against the Bay Tigers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Greene County took a 44-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bay. Greene County has struggled against Bay recently, as their contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Greene County saw an underclassman step up: Rakhiya Moody scored 19 points.
Greene County's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 11-10. As for Bay, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
Greene County will be playing in front of their home fans against Poplarville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bay, they will head out on the road to face off against Our Lady Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
