Newsome has gone 7-2 against Robinson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. Newsome will be playing in front of their home fans against Robinson at 1:00 p.m. Newsome will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Newsome took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Durant, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Newsome had just enough and edged out Durant 4-2.

Meanwhile, Robinson got the win against Blake on Thursday by a conclusive 8-2. Considering the Knights have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Gavyn Montera looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.

At the plate, CJ Maglalang was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Brady Capps was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

Robinson's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-8. As for Newsome, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.
