Soccer Game Preview: Incline vs. North Tahoe

The Incline Highlanders will take on the North Tahoe Lakers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Incline's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Incline is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Truckee, who was ranked tenth in their home state at the time (Incline was ranked 25th). The Highlanders lost 5-1 to the Wolverines last Thursday.

Meanwhile, North Tahoe's game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Truckee by a score of 2-1.

North Tahoe's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-2. As for Incline, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3-3.

Incline came out on top in a nail-biter against North Tahoe in their previous matchup back in September, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Highlanders repeat their success, or do the Lakers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
