On Tuesday, Irvine got the W thanks in part to Drake Brito playing the best baseball he has all season. Brito wasn't messing around, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 18 over seven innings pitched. The pitching appearance was his eighth straight with five or more strikeouts.
