Basketball Recap: Milledgeville Athletic Club Piles Up the Points Against Georgia School for Innovation & Classics

Milledgeville Athletic Club strolled into their game on Saturday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They really took it to the Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Patriots for the full four quarters, racking up a 71-22 win. With the Bears ahead 41-19 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Milledgeville Athletic Club to victory, but perhaps none more so than Branden Conner, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. The contest was Conner's fifth in a row with at least 16 points. Greyson Rogers was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Milledgeville Athletic Club's victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Looking ahead, Georgia School for Innovation & Classics will face off against Glascock County at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Milledgeville Athletic Club will be paying especially close attention to the Patriots' game: after the Patriots face off against Augusta E, they'll take on Milledgeville Athletic Club again at 5:45 p.m. on December 1.
