Rosebud-Lott waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Chilton Pirates. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Rosebud-Lott took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11.

Kaitlyn Jenkins paced Rosebud-Lott's offense, picking up nine kills. Jenkins got some help from Alaya Cavitt and her nine assists. Cavitt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Rosebud-Lott's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Chilton, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Rosebud-Lott has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Bremond on the 16th. As for Chilton, they will be taking part in a tournament against Riesel at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
