Softball Game Preview: Hannibal Warriors vs. Cato-Meridian Blue Devils

The Hannibal Warriors will face off against the Cato-Meridian Blue Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Hannibal has given up an average of 18 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Hannibal is headed into Monday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They lost 21-5 to Bishop Grimes.

Meanwhile, after only two runs in their last game, Cato-Meridian made sure to put some runs up on the board against Bishop Ludden on Friday. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Gaelic Knights with a sharp 19-4 win. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won five contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Cato-Meridian's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Hannibal, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
