Basketball Game Preview: Southeast Pirates vs. Brookfield Warriors

The Southeast Pirates are taking a road trip to challenge the Brookfield Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Southeast has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Southeast took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Champion as Southeast made off with a 59-38 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Pirates as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Brookfield's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They lost to LaBrae on the road by a 74-55 margin.

Southeast now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Brookfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Southeast beat Brookfield 58-47 in their previous matchup on January 6th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southeast since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
