Basketball Recap: Everett Comes Up Short

Everett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 62-5 loss at the hands of the Fowlerville Gladiators. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 546th, while the Gladiators are ranked 222nd).

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Fowlerville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Everett will welcome Sexton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fowlerville, they will face off against Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fowlerville is facing Charlotte at the right time seeing as Charlotte is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
