Baseball Recap: Pacifica Gets the Win

Pacifica got themselves on the board against Buena on Friday, but Buena never followed suit. They skirted past the Bulldogs 2-0. The Tritons haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Not much got past Sebastian Hernandez, who gave up just a hit to keep Buena off the board. Hernandez also tossed a walk, which is notable because Pacifica is 5-2 when he allows at most two walks, but 8-9 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Taylor Lee was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.

Pacifica's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Buena, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record this season.

Pacifica will be playing at home against Channel Islands at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Buena does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
