Volleyball Recap: Hayfork's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Hayfork came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Chester Volcanoes. This was a revenge game for the Timberjacks: when they faced off against the Volcanoes back in August, they had to take a 2-1 loss.

Kaelynn Bayley paced Hayfork's offense, picking up eight kills. Bayley got some help from Lydia Yarbrough and her 28 assists. Finally, Sophie Eslick kept Hayfork's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Hayfork's win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for Chester, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hayfork will venture away from home to square off against South Fork at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chester, they will face off against Loyalton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
