Baseball Recap: William Campbell Comes Up Short

William Campbell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Brookville Bees, falling 15-5. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Generals of the 8-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

William Campbell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Brookville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

William Campbell and Brookville will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. William Campbell is set to face off against their familiar foe Altavista at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Brookville will take on rival Rustburg at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
