Basketball Recap: Box Elder Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

While Box Elder didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took down the Skyline Eagles 59-45 on Wednesday.

Skyline's loss came despite strong showings from Timothy Hammer and Jase Bishop. Hammer posted eight points in addition to five assists and three steals, while Bishop shot 42% from the field en route to 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Sanchez, who earned nine points.

Box Elder's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points over those games. As for Skyline, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Box Elder didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 59-38 defeat against Olympus on the 5th. As for Skyline, they have also already played their next game, a 57-49 win against Kearns on the 5th.
