Basketball Recap: Roger Bacon Spartans vs. Reading Blue Devils
The Roger Bacon Spartans's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against Reading by a score of 51-43.
Roger Bacon had a senior duo take command as Leah Fulton scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and five assists and Morgan Rohling scored 18 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mariah Henderson, who scored nine points.
Roger Bacon's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Reading, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-7.
Roger Bacon will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Reading, they will head out on the road to square off against the Yellowjackets at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Taylor will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive.
