Softball Game Preview: North Stanly Comets vs. South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls

The North Stanly Comets will face off against the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. North Stanly's pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so South Stanly's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

North Stanly is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering West Stanly just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Colts by a score of 3-2.

Meanwhile, South Stanly was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-8 heartbreaker at the hands of Ardrey Kell.

North Stanly's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for South Stanly, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
