Nation's Top 10 running backs from the Class of 2019

One school boasts the top two rushers in the country — believed to be a first.

MaxPreps national football editor Zack Poff breaks down the Top 10 rated running backs from the Class of 2019, according to 247Sports.

Seven different states are represented, while three backs are from Florida. Amazingly, the top two are from the same team. That's believed to be a first.

1. Trey Sanders, IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.)
The 6-foot, 216-pounder is not committed but has 12 offers, at this point, which 247Sports ranks (in order) Florida, Florida State, Miami, Alabama and Georgia as his five favorites.

2. Noah Cain, IMG Academy

The 5-11, 209-pounder has 28 offers with Texas, Ohio State, LSU, Oklahoma and Penn State as his favorites.

3. Austin Jones, Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, Calif.)

The 5-11, 190-pounder has already started three seasons for the Northern California power. He has 23 offers with Stanford, Cal, Notre Dame, Oregon and UCLA as favorites.

4. Jerrion Ealy, Jackson Prep (Jackson, Miss.)

The 5-9, 190-pounder has committed to Ole Miss.



5. John Emery, Destrehan (La.)
The 6-foot, 190-pounder has 14 offers with Auburn, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas and Florida as favorites.

6. Devyn Ford, North Stafford (Stafford, Va.)

The 5-11, 195-pounder has 31 offers — the most of any running back — with Virginia Tech, Ohio State, Clemson, Penn State and North Carolina as favorites.

7. Sean Dollars, Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.)
The 5-10, 185-pounder has 18 offers. Oregon, USC, Florida State, Washington and Arizona as possible destinations.

8. Kenny McIntosh, University (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.)

The 6-1, 205-pounder has 24 offers with Miami, Alabama, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Clemson as favorites.

9. Sampson James, Avon (Ind.)

The 6-1, 211-pounder has committed to Ohio State.

10. Khafre Brown, West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, N.C.)
The 5-11½, 176-pounder has 17 offers with Alabama, Duke, Florida State, Georgia State and Iowa State as favorites.
