Softball Recap: Mount Juliet Golden Bears vs. Overton Bobcats
Mount Juliet put the finishing touches on their 13th blowout victory of the season on Monday. They blew past the Overton Bobcats 16-1.
Taylor Haymans tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched.
At the plate, Avery Haymans was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Anabella Brewer, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
On Overton's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trista Norris, who went 1-for-1 with a double.
