Mica Mountain fell victim to Salpointe Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Lancers, falling 14-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Thunderbolts' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Mica Mountain saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Hunt, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Sahuaro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 16-2 to Mica Mountain.

The loss snapped Mica Mountain's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-11-1 record. As for Sahuaro, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-19-1.

Everything went Mica Mountain's way against Sahuaro in their previous meeting on Monday, as Mica Mountain made off with a 16-2 victory.
