 It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Kings Park can now relate to. They received a tough blow  on Friday as they fell  69-51 to the Walter Panas Panthers. Kings Park's defeat signaled the end of their 15-game winning streak.
 Several Kingsmen players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Melanie New, who  went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 1 assist. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ryan Currier, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 22  rebounds and nine  blocks.
 It was another big night for  Cadence Nicholas, who  scored 39 points for Walter Panas. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Nicholas has scored at least a third of Walter Panas' points.  Sofia Tavarez was another key contributor,  scoring 20 points.
 Kings Park's loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Walter Panas, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 16 of their last 17 matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record  this season.
 Kings Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Walter Panas, they won't have much time to rest: their next  contest is against Catholic Central at 7:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Catholic Central is coming into the  game with five straight  wins on the road,  so Walter Panas will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum.
