Malcolm lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Douglas County West, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Clippers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Falcon a 10-0 shutout on Friday. The Clippers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by eight runs or more this season.

Brixon Meyer made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four). He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with three RBI.

In other pitching news, Cayden Robotham looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run any time he's pitched this season.
