Recap: Rim of the World Fighting Scots vs. San Gorgonio Spartans
The Rim of the World Fighting Scots won against the San Gorgonio Spartans last Thursday with 50 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. Everything went Rim of the World's way against San Gorgonio as Rim of the World made off with a 50-29 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Rim of the World.
Rim of the World's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nikolai Carbaugh, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds. Carbaugh hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Jackson Urquiza, who scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals.
Rim of the World has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. As for San Gorgonio, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Rim of the World will be playing at home against Bloomington at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for San Gorgonio, they will head out on the road to face off against Ontario at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ontario will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
