Basketball Recap: Stacey Snags Ninth Victory in Last Ten Games

It's playoff time, and Stacey had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the San Saba Armadillos on Tuesday, sneaking past 39-37. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since February 2, 2024.

Stacey is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.4 points over those games. As for San Saba, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-14.

Looking ahead, Stacey will face off against Port Aransas at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. San Saba does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
