Maclay has gone 8-2 against North Florida Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Maclay Marauders just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the North Florida Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Maclay is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat FAMU DRS 73-41. With that win, the Marauders brought their scoring average up to 52.1 points per game.

Maclay's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nash Beshears led the charge by putting up 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of George Grant, who posted 15 points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Florida Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Grace Christian Academy 75-47 on Thursday. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Eagles had established a 24 point advantage.

North Florida Christian's win came from a few key players Maclay will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jed Dickens, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 boards. Dickens is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jace Riggan, who had eight points in addition to nine assists and three steals.

North Florida Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2023.

North Florida Christian moved to 3-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Maclay, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Maclay was able to grind out a solid victory over North Florida Christian in their previous meeting back in January, winning 48-38. Does Maclay have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Florida Christian turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
