Boerne-Champion came tearing into Thursday's game with seven straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against Canyon Lake by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chargers also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Cassidy Breuer paced Boerne-Champion's offense, picking up ten kills. Breuer got some help from Brady Cooksey and her 27 assists.

Boerne-Champion's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Canyon Lake, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-6.

Boerne-Champion wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Stevens on the 29th.
