Basketball Recap: Quanah Takes a Loss

After flying high against Wheeler last Tuesday, Quanah came back down to earth. The Quanah Indians were dealt a 73-41 defeat at the hands of the Wellington Skyrockets on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Skyrockets: they've now lost four in a row.

Quanah's defeat dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Wellington, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season.

When Quanah and Wellington next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Quanah will take on Vega and their three-game winning streak at 7:00 p.m. on February 11th. Similarly, Wellington will try to stop Stratford's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
