Basketball Recap: Pacheco Panthers vs. Central Valley Hawks

Pacheco was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 72-50 to the Central Valley Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-35 on January 7th.

Central Valley found their leader in sophomore Xavier Manor, who almost dropped a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Manor has scored all season. Parteek Sohal was another key player, shooting 47% from the field to rack up 17 points.

Pacheco's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Central Valley, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-13.
