Softball Recap: West Takes a Loss

West was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 13-10 to the St. Mary's Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-4 last Tuesday.

Malia Morreira was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 3-for-3. Mya Camp was another key player, scoring three runs while going 4-for-4.

West's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for St. Mary's, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-8.

Coincidentally, West and St. Mary's will both be playing Kimball the next time they take the field. The Rams will host the Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wolfpack will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
