Basketball Recap: Mandan Comes Up Short

Mandan has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 84-83 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jamestown Bluejays. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (70), the Braves still had to take the loss.

Mandan's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Jamestown, the win snapped their losing streak at 16 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-14 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mandan will take on Minot at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jamestown, they will host St. Mary's Central at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
