It was a good run, but Temecula Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-match winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks by a score of 3-2. The Golden Bears were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Nighthawks earlier this season, when they won 3-1.
