After a string of eight wins, Great Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost 13-3 to the Henderson Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Patriots have suffered since March 19th.

Brady Hounsell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-4. Christian Hall also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Great Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Henderson, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Great Valley will host Unionville at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Longhorns' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Henderson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Strath Haven at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Warriors 4, the Panthers 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
